Chris works hard to trim the horses hooves. Regular farrier visits are important to help the horses stay sound and prevents future hoof and leg problems.
Here is one of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Volunteers digging up ragwort – a plant toxic to horses and people.

Chris the farrier attends our yard within a few days of the neglect cases arriving and trims their hooves to help restore their soundness and natural gait.
